Meslek Yüksek Okulları Tekstil (Terbiye) Programlarında Verilen Eğitimin Yapısal Bozukluklarının İncelenmesi

Abstract

Tekstil sektörü, toplam üretimimizin %11 ini ihracatımızın %38 ini oluşturan önemli endüstriyel alanlardan biridir. Aynı zamanda istihdam bakımından birinci sektör durumundadır. Bu açıdan bakıldığında , sektöre orta kademe vasıflı eleman yetiştiren Meslek yüksek okulu Tekstil Eğitimi programlarının önemi büyüktür. MEB-YÖK işbirliği ile 2002 yılında Tekstil Eğitim Programları, program geliştirme projesi olarak standart formuna kavuşmuş ve halen kullanılmaktadır. Tekstil ön lisans program? olarak 7 farkl? anabilim dal?ndan olu an bu proje , günümüzde geli en teknoloji ve tekstildeki global eğilimler ışığında hali hazırda sektörün isteklerine yeterince cevap verememektedir. Bunun yanında Avrupa Kredi Transfer Sistemi ECTS kapsamında verilen Tekstil Terbiye programı derslerinin yurt dışındaki okullarda uygulanan programlara eş değerliği de tartışma konusudur. Bu çalışmanın amacı; hali hazırda bulunan 7 farklı tekstil ön lisans programlarından biri olan tekstil terbiye programı derslerinin , ECTS kriterleri ve günümüz yüksek öğretimdeki gelişmeler ışığında revize edilmesi için gerekli değişiklik ve öneriler sunulmasıdır.

Textile sector forms 11 per cent of the total production and 38 per cent of the exportation of Turkey.So,it is one of the most important industrial areas.At the same time it is the first sector in employement.When you look at it from this point of view,the importanceof Vocational Higher Educations which educate average grade skillful employees is big. With the cooperation of MEB(Turkish Ministry of Educat?on) and YÖK (Council of Higher Education) in 2002 ,in textile programmes, programme development Project gained its Standard form and is still being used. The Textile Higher Education programme Project consists of seven different branches,though can not answer the needs of the sector because of the developing technology and the globalization tendencies. Beside, the textile programme subjects which are given in the covarage of European Credit Transfer system ECTS ,turns out to be a discussion matter with the equivalent schools when compared with programmes applied in the equivalent schools abroad. The aim of this study is to revise the textile finishing programme subjects which is one of the seven different textile higher education programmes,considering ECTS criterias and the developments in todays Higher Educational System to offer changes and suggestions.
