Osmanlı Kıraat Eğitiminde Şâz Kıraatler ve Yûsuf Efendizâde’nin Konuya Dair Tepkisi

Abstract

Çalışmamızda, Osmanlı’da okutulan şâz tariklerle Yûsuf Efendizâde’nin bahsi geçen tariklere yönelik eleştirileri ele alınmıştır. Bu meyanda öncelikle genel hatlarıyla Yûsuf Efendizâde’nin hayatı ile şâz kıraatler meselesine değinilip sonrasında Osmanlı kıraat eğitiminde mevcut Kabâkıbî ve Nihâye tarikleriyle ilgili bilgi verilmiştir. Bu kısımda söz konusu tariklere dair malumatın ardından, ulaşılabildiği kadarıyla, ilgili tariklerin kıraat tedrisinden kalkma sebeplerine ve Yûsuf Efendizâde’nin bu konudaki rolüne de değinilmiştir. Makalenin son kısmında ise Yûsuf Efendizâde’nin şâz kıraatlerle alakalı risâlesi bağlamında, cami-mescit ve ders mekânları ile merasimlerde okutulan şâz kıraatlere karşı olumsuz bakış açısı ele alınmıştır. Makalenin amacı, Osmanlı kıraat eğitim müfredatında önceleri mevcutken daha sonra unutulmaya yüz tutmuş Kabâkıbî ve Nihâye tarikleriyle bu tariklerin zamanla tedris edilmeme sebeplerine ve Yûsuf Efendizâde’nin bu husustaki rolüne değinmektir. Ayrıca konuya dair risâlesi bağlamında, onun şâz kıraatlere bakış açısını ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmalar sonucunda Osmanlı kıraat eğitiminde İstanbul ve Mısır tariki gibi yaygın olmasa da Kabâkıbî ve Nihâye tariklerinin de okutulduğu, zikri geçen tariklerin şâz kıraatlerle alakalı olduğu, zamanla birtakım sebeplerle bu tariklerin eğitim müfredatından kaldırıldığı ve Yûsuf Efendizâde’nin de bu hususta rolünün olduğu sonuçlarına varılmıştır.

In our paper the shadh qiraahs taught during the Ottoman State and Yusuf Efendizade’s critiques about these qiraahs have been discussed. In this sense, firstly, Yusuf Efendizade’s life and the problem of shadh qiraahs were explained with the main lines and then information about Qabâqibî and Nihaye traditions that were taught in the Ottoman qiraah education system has been presented. The reasons for the abolition of the aforementioned traditions and Yusuf Efendizade’s role in it have been discussed as far as possible after consideration of the information that had been given about the related traditions. During the last part of the article the negative approach of Yusuf Efendizade against the shadh qiraahs recited in mosques-masjids and other schools and in some ceremonies within the context of his treatise about shadh qiraahs have been put forward. The aim of the article is to touch upon Qabâqibî and Nihaye traditions that were taught within the Ottoman State qiraah education and then forgotten; the reasons for their abolition and Yusuf Efendizade’s role within this period. One more aim is to put forward his approach to shadh qiraahs. After research; it has been concluded that; Qabâqibî and Nihaye traditions were taught in the Ottoman State qiraah education system although they were not as common as the Istanbul and Egypt traditions, they were abolished from the curriculum, and Yusuf Efendizade had a role in it.
