Gazzali düşüncesinde sevgi

Abstract

Sevgi, insanın gündelik hayatından ahlaka kadar yelpazesi geniş olan, ontolojik ve estetik açılardan felsefeye konu teşkil eden kavramdır. Bu haliyle İslam düşüncesi açısından kişinin dünya ve ahiret mutluluğu ile doğrudan ilgilidir. Mezkûr kavram Gazzâlî düşüncesinde insanın idrak yetilerinden hareketle sistemli bir şekilde ele alınmış, fizikten metafiziğe, psikolojiden ahlaka kadar uzanan çizgide konuya bütüncül bir bakış açısı getirilmiştir.

Love is a concept which is applied in so many different areas of life, covering the relations in daily life and morals. And it has been a philosophical topic from an ontological perspective as well as an aesthetic one. In Islamic thought it is considered to be immediately connected with the human happiness in this word and in the hereafter. Thus al-Ghazzali discussed the concept of love on the bases of human understanding with a holistic approach and examined it from physical, metaphysical, psychological and ethical points of view.
