BİR ÇİZGİ FİLMİN POPÜLER KÜLTÜR AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ: RAFADAN TAYFA

Abstract

Kültürün alt sistemlerinden biri olan popüler kültür, yaygın olarak beğenilen, tüketilen anlamında kullanılmaktadır. Popüler kültür sürekli değişen, kabuk değiştiren, bulunduğu ortamda hızından tanınmayan bir üretim alanıdır. Televizyon, en önemli popüler kültür üreticisi ve taşıyıcısıdır. Çocuğun zihinsel dünyasının ve kültürün inşasında televizyon büyük öneme sahiptir. Bu nedenle araştırmada, Rafadan Tayfa çizgi filminde bulunan popüler kültür ögelerini ortaya çıkarmak amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmaya her bölümde en az altı popüler kültür ögesi barındıran toplam 13 bölüm dâhil edilmiştir. Çalışma nitel modelde tasarlanmış ve çalışmada durum deseni kullanılmıştır. Doküman analizi tekniği kullanılan araştırmada içerik analizi ve göstergebilim analizi yapılmıştır. Analizler sonucunda, birçok ögesiyle seksenler döneminde geçtiği belirlenen çizgi filmin günümüze ait birçok popüler kültür ögesi içerdiği de belirlenmiştir. Geçmişte halk hikâyeleri ve masalların gerçekleştirdiği kültür aktarımı ve kültürün güncellenmesi görevini, günümüzde çizgi filmler yerine getirmektedir. Dolayısıyla, çizgi filmde yer alan popüler kültür ögelerinin belirlenmesi özgün bir değer taşıdığından alana katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

Popular culture being one of the subsystems of culture is widely used to in the sense of acclaimed or consumed. Popular culture is a production area which is continuously changing, self-renewing and the courses it interflows cannot be recognized due to its speed. TV is the most important popular culture producer and conveyor. TV has a great importance in building a child's intellectual world and culture. Therefore, this study aimed to reveal the popular culture elements in the cartoon; Rafadan Tayfa. The study was conducted in a sample composed of 13 episodes each of which included at least six popular culture elements. The study was designed using qualitative research method, and case study design was incorporated. In this study in which document analysis technique was used, content analysis and semiotic analysis were conducted. At the end of the analyses, the cartoon was determined to take place in eighties as well as contained many popular culture elements. Recently, culture transfer which was fulfilled by folk tales in old times has been carried out by cartoons. In this respect, since determining the popular culture elements in cartoons is unique in this field, it is considered that this study will contribute a great deal to the field.
