BAtıcılık düşüncesi çerçevesinde abdullah cevdet'te din-bilim-felsefe ilişkisi

Abstract

Batıcılık düşüncesi Osmanlının son döneminden günümüze kadar etkisi devam eden bir akımdır. Sözü edilen akımın önde gelen temsilcilerinden Abdullah Cevdetin konuya dair düşünceleri, günümüz Türk düşüncesinin gidişatını, konumunu, tarihi derinliğini ve irtibat noktalarını anlamak için önem arz eder. Batıcılık konusunda Abdullah Cevdetin düşünce dünyasında din-bilim-felsefe kavramları merkezi bir yer tutar. Bu çalışmada Batılılaşma bağlamında modern Batı aklı ve bu aklın, felsefe anlayışı olarak son dönem Türk düşünürlerinden Abdullah Cevdetin düşünce dünyasına yansıması ele alınacaktır.

The thought of westernism is a movement that has been influential from the late Ottoman era to the present. The ideas of Abdullah Cevdet on this subject, who is one of the leading representatives of the aforementioned movement, carry importance for an understanding of the way, position, and historical depth of contemporary Turkish thought, as well as its connection points. With regard to the idea of westernism, the terms of religion, science, and philosophy hold a central place in the thought of Abdullah Cevdet. In this study, modern western reason and its influence on the thought of, one of the late Ottoman intellectuals, Abdullah Cevdet will be examined.
