5-6 yaş çocuklarının tablet/telefon kullanımlarının sosyal duygusal gelişimleri üzerine etkisinin incelenmesi

Abstract

5-6 Yaş Çocuklarının Tablet/Telefon Kullanımlarının Sosyal Duygusal Gelişimleri Üzerine Etkisinin İncelenmesi Bu çalışmanın amacı 5-6 yaş çocuklarının tablet ve/veya telefon kullanımlarının sosyal-duygusal gelişimleri üzerine etkisini incelemektir. Yapılan bu çalışma tanımlayıcı araştırma modeli ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu üç okul olarak belirlenmiştir. Ancak yeterli veri toplanamaması nedeniyle sonradan altı okul daha araştırmaya katılmıştır. Belirlenen okullarla ilk önce okul müdürleri çalışma konusu, kapsamı ve verilerin toplanma sürecinin nasıl olacağı hakkında bilgilendirilmiştir. Ardından ilkokullarda anasınıfı öğretmenleri ve anaokullarında 5-6 yaş grubu sınıf öğretmenleri aynı şekilde bilgilendirilerek velilere gönüllü onam formu, "anket formu" ve "Sosyal Yetkinlik ve Davranış Değerlendirme-30 (SYDD-30) Ölçeğinin" ulaştırılması gerektiği açıklanmıştır. Bir hafta sonra yeniden gelinerek dönüş sağlanan formların toplanacağı belirtilmiştir. Tüm istatistikler için anlamlılık sınırı p<0.05 olarak seçilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonuçlarına bakıldığında 5-6 yaş çocuklarının tablet/telefon kullanımlarının sosyal duygusal gelişimleri üzerine etkisi incelenen maddeler hakkında istatistiksel bakımdan anlamlı ilişki görülmeyen sonuçlar olduğu gibi istatistiksel bakımdan anlamlı ilişki görülen birçok madde olmuştur (p<0.05). Sonuç olarak çocukların tablet/telefon kullanımlarının kullanılış şekil, süre, denetim durumu vb. yönlerden sosyal-duygusal gelişimleri üzerine etkisi olduğu görülmüş, öğretmenlerden alınan görüşler doğrultusunda bu konuda velilere eğitim verilmesi gerekliliği fark edilmiştir.

The Examination Of The Effects Of Tablet/Phone Usage On The 5-6 Year Old Childrens' Social Emotional Developments This study investigates the impact of tablet and/or phone use on social-emotional development in 5-6 years old children. In this study, the descriptive research model was used. The subjects of the research were determined by one of the purposeful sampling methods: was used the convenience sampling method. Three schools were taken as the basis for the research. However, six more schools were added to the study due to lack of data. Primarily, the principals of the selected schools were informed about the study's subject, scope and data collection process. After that, kindergarten teachers in primary schools and classroom teachers responsible for 5-6 years old children groups in kindergartens were informed in the same way and it was explained that voluntary consent form, "Survey Form" and "Social Competence and Behavior Evaluation Scale (SCBE-30)" should be sent to their parents. It was stated that the answered forms would be collected a week later. The limit of significance for all statistics was chosen as p<0.05. According to the conclusions obtained, there were some results that were not statistically significant for the subjects that the impact of tablet/phone use of 5-6-year-old children on the social-emotional development were examined as well as there were many subjects that were statistically significant (p<0.05). In consequence of the study, it has been observed that the use of tablets/phones among children has an impact on their social-emotional development in terms of usage way, time, supervision status, etc. and it has been realized that the parents should be trained in this regard in line with the opinions received from the teachers.
