Trakya Bölgesinin Ekolojik Tarım Turizmi Potansiyeli ve Pazarlanabilirliği

Abstract

Üretimde kimyasal girdi kullanmadan, üretimden tüketime kadar her aşaması kontrollü ve sertifikalı tarımsal üretim biçimi olan ekolojik tarım; toprak ve su kaynakları ile havayı kirletmeden, çevre, bitki, hayvan ve insan sağlığını korumayı amaçlamaktadır. İnsanların daha sağlıklı beslenme bilinci ve alışkanlığı kazanması ile çevrenin korunmasına verilen önem artmış insanlar ekolojik tarım ürünlerine yönelmişlerdir. Tarım ve turizm ilişkisi çevre bilincinden etkilenerek ekoturizm, ekolojik tarım turizmi gibi içerisinde ekolojik tarım ürünlerinin yer aldığı turizm alanlarını doğurmuştur. Ekolojik tarım turizminin doğayı koruyan, ekolojik ürünlerin üretilmesini ve tüketilmesini teşvik eden, turizmden kaynaklanan doğadaki tahribatı asgariye indiren ve yerel ve ulusal kalkınmaya olumlu yanları düşünüldüğünde ekolojik tarım turizminin geliştirilmesi önem kazanmaktadır. Trakya Bölgesi bereketli toprakları ve ekoturizm olanakları ile geleceğin ekolojik tarım turizm destinasyonu olmaya adaydır. Bu çalışmada, ekolojik tarım ve turizm ilişkisini ortaya koyan ulusal ve uluslararası alan yazınlar araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada, Trakya Bölgesi'nin ekolojik tarım ürünlerinin üretilmesine oldukça uygun alanlarının olduğu ayrıca bölgenin ekoturizm potansiyeli de düşünüldüğünde, henüz yeni bir trend olan ekolojik tarım turizminin Trakya Bölgesinde uygulanabilirliği ve pazarlanabilirliğine dikkat çekilmiş ve bu konuda detaylı bilgiler verilerek öneriler sunulmuştur

Ecological agriculture which consists of the controlled and certified agricultural production without including chemicals at every stage from production to consumption process; aims to protect the plant, animal and human health without polluting the soil, water and air. As people gain healthy eating awareness and habits, the emphasis for the environmental protection has increased and people turn into ecological agriculture products. The relationship between agriculture and tourism affected by the environmental consciousness generated ecotourism and ecological agriculture tourism concepts which include ecological agriculture products. The improvement of the ecological agriculture tourism is significant and necessary as it protects nature, supports the production and consumption of ecological products, decreases the damages due to tourism facilities, and supports both local and international developments. Grounded on this, Thrace region is an important candidate destination for ecological agriculture tourism by means of fertile soils and ecotourism opportunities. In this study, national and international studies examining the relationship between ecological agriculture and tourism are investigated and presented. In this vein, this study concluded that Thrace Region has many appropriate fields regarding ecological agriculture products and in the light of the ecotourism potential of the region, the applicability of the ecological agriculture tourism in Thrace Region and marketing opportunities are highlighted with in-depth information. In this regard, suggestions and implementations are offered for further research.
