Meslek Yüksekokulu Öğrencilerinin Muhasebe Eğitimindeki Algı Ve Beklentilerinin Belirlenmesine Yönelik Bir Araştırma: Uzunköprü Myo Örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmada meslek yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin muhasebe dersine olan ilgileri ile muhasebe dersinden beklentileri arasındaki ilişkiler araştırılmıştır. Uzunköprü Meslek Yüksekokulunda ağırlıklı olarak muhasebe dersleri alan bölümlerdeki 258 öğrenciye 27 sorudan oluşan bir anket uygulanmış ve veriler, SPSS 20 istatistik programı aracılığıyla değerlendirilmiş; ankette bulunan likert ölçeğindeki beş düzeyli sorulara verilen yanıtlar için güven testi yapılmıştır. Öğrenciler derslerin panel, konferans, vb. etkinliklerle desteklenmesi beklentisi içinde olduklarını, sınıflarda teknoloji kullanımının artırılması gerektiğini, güncel yayınlara erişimin kolaylaştırılmasını istediklerini belirtmişlerdir. Ankete katılan öğrencilerin çoğunluğunun ticaret liselerinden ziyade meslek lisesi mezunu oldukları görülmüştür. Bu durum muhasebe derslerinin yoğun olarak görüldüğü bölümlerde muhasebe temeli olmayan öğrencilerin ders algılamalarını olumsuz etkilemiştir. Meslek yüksekokulu muhasebe eğitiminin verildiği bölümlere ticaret lisesi öğrencilerinin daha fazla özendirilmesi hem muhasebe dersinin daha kolay algılanmasını sağlayacak hem de muhasebe ara elaman kalitesini artıracağı saptanmıştır.

In Uzunköprü Vocational College, a survey composed of 27 questions has been conducted among 258 students who have mainly accounting classes. The data has been assessed by SPSS 20 statistical software and a reliability test has been carried out for the answers given to the questions in the form of five point likert scale in the survey. The students have declared that they expect the classes to be supported by panels, conferences and etc., the usage of technology in the classes to be improved and they also wish the access to the current publications would be easier. Most of the students in this study are vocational high school graduate rather than commercial high school graduate. This situation has negatively affected the perceptional capability of the students who study in the departments that include departments in vocational colleges where the accounting classes are taught, the perception of the classes would become easier and the quality of intermediate accounting personnel would be improved.
