OKUL ÖNCESİ EĞİTİM: TEMEL SORUNLAR VE ÇÖZÜM ÖNERİLERİ

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğretmen görüşlerine göre, okul öncesi eğitimdekarşılaşılan temel sorunları belirlemek ve bu sorunlara yönelik çözüm önerilerigeliştirmektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılındaEdirne ili Merkez ilçesine bağlı resmî bağımsız anaokulları ve anasınıfı bulunanokullarda görevli 24 okul öncesi öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma nitelaraştırma deseninde tasarlanmıştır. Veriler, içerik analizi ile değerlendirilmiştir.Katılımcılara göre, öğrenci aidatlarının düzenli ödenmemesi ve okulların bütçeyetersizliği ekonomik sorunlar arasında görülmektedir. Katılımcıların büyük çoğunluğu, ailelerin okul öncesi eğitime yeterli desteği ve ilgiyi göstermemesi nedeniyle, eğitim sürecinde sorunlar yaşandığını belirtmektedirler. Öğretmenleregöre, rehberlik ve denetim sistemindeki yetersizlikler, öğretmenlerin teneffüs sürelerinin olmaması, ikili eğitim uygulaması, personel yetersizliği ve mevzuat yetersizliği okul öncesi eğitimdeki temel sorunlar arasındadır. Öğretmenler, okulöncesi eğitimde karşılaşılan sorunların çözümüne yönelik olarak, okul öncesieğitimin giderlerinin devlet tarafından karşılanması, ailelerin bilinçlendirilmesive okul öncesi eğitimin zorunlu eğitim kapsamına alınması gerektiğine yönelikönerilerde bulunmuşlardır.

The purpose of this research, according to teacher opinions, determine the basic problems encountered in pre-school education and is to develop solution suggestions for these problems. The study group consisted of 24 pre-school teachers working in official independent kindergartens and kindergartens in Edirne province in 2018-2019 academic year. The research is designed in a qualitative research pattern. The data were evaluated by content analysis. According to the participants, the regularly non-payment of student dues and the lack of budget of the schools are among the economic problems. The majority of the participants stated that there were problems in the education process due to the lack of support and interest of the families in pre-school education. According to the teachers, inadequacies in the guidance and supervision system, lack of teachers’ break periods, dual training practice, shortage of staff and lack of legislation are among the problems in pre-school education. In order to solve the problems encountered in pre-school education, the teachers made suggestions that the expenses of pre-school education should be covered by the state, families should be made aware and pre-school education should be included in compulsory education.
